Psychopurge is the debut EP of Astral J, sitting at the crossroads of psychedelic and mystic techno. Structured like a psychedelic journey, it evolves in intensity from a subtle microdose in Fadiman’s Protocol to a full-blown breakthrough in the final track. Across its five pieces, hypnotic, raw, and intense rhythms are sculpted to transport the listener into another world.

Creating in minimalism environnement
The main challenge was working without my usual studio environment. I had just moved to Berlin and couldn’t access my setup in France. The entire EP was produced, mixed, and mastered in one month using only a MacBook running Ableton Live and my mixing/mastering headphones.
